eFolios to Support Education

Mike Farrell and Thomas Odermatt at Susan Lindgren Intermediate School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, have created an initiative for how intermediate school students can use eFolio Minnesota to learn reading and writing. Each student builds an eFolio site and displays learning assessments, artifacts, and reflections. (Because the students are under age 18, their sites are password protected.) Read more about Farrell's and Odermatt's work.

Several faculty from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities were awarded stipends to create course or project portfolios to illustrate the ways in which electronic portfolios may successfully be used in education. It is envisioned that electronic portfolios may be utilized by faculty and staff for instructional purposes at the classroom, program, and project level. Read more.
